15' 4" Grumman Aluminum Sport Boat W/ Trailer, Very Versatile, Vintage-Rare

Manufactured in Marathon NY. Still made up there today. Grummans are legendary for their design and longevity. Originally made in the Grumman aircraft factory, including the use of flush rivets like their aircraft, they moved to upstate NY. These canoes last forever and are passed down to the next generation.

Scout camps and canoe rental companies use them because they are tough. The Sport boat can be put on the roof of a car, I developed a system that I could put it on and off up by myself, see pics. An excellent duck hunting boat as I believe the 1st owner purchased it for. Very stable for standing up fishing. The next owner built a center seat but I have a brand new Grumman that just needs to be put in, see pic.

When going through shallow water, it doesn't draw much, and takes very little effort to move it. Fine with a 2hp and will plane with a 4hp. Good in rough water and has flotation should it go over. There are sail kits available - see pic, not included, and an outboard motor, not included, pushes it pretty fast. It comes with fairly new excellent oars, see pics.

This boat can be paddled, sailed, motored and rowed! A galvanized trailer also comes with the boat, it has bearing buddies for pressurized lubrication. Pick up only, sold as is where is. Please note my location - New York. Last bidder was from Texas and did not check 1st.
