The Grumman canoe design is probably the most stable and comfortable canoe design ever made. It is remarkably light weight compared to typical fiberglass or plastic canoes and the aluminum is infinitely more durable.This particular 15' Grumman canoe is the premium grade "light weight" variant that was produced by Grumman as an option for special order.This Grumman canoe was purchased new in 1970 by my family, and we have taken good care of it.This canoe is in very good shape for its age. It has a few small dings that are typical for used aluminum canoes.

The cockpit has a layer of aluminum oxide that can be cleaned up or ignored. I scrubbed the canoe clean with a nylon brush, and now it is ready for polishing to a bright shine.This canoe will bring you great pleasure for years to come.
