1960's Grumman Sportboat - Sport Boat 15.3FT Canoe

1960's GRUMMAN SPORTBOAT - SPORT BOAT 15.3FT CANOE. THE ULTIMATE HUNTING CANOE! These are pretty difficult to find. Especially the early ones like this with the thickest grade aluminum and the 1100 lb weight capacity. These were rated as one of the ten best boats of all time.

15.3 feet long. Wide transom for outboard mounting. Extremely stable. Oar locks for rowing capability. Good overall condition for a 1960's canoe.

A couple of small solid repairs visible on the bottom. No leaks whatsoever. Ready for the lake, river, marsh or bayou. Rated to carry up to 1100 pounds make this excellent for hauling your prize back into civilization. Stable enough to shoot from without any issues.

Looks to have been previously painted in olive drab, and also red at some point. The State of Ohio treats the Grumman Sport boat as a canoe, and as a result only registers them so no title is issued here. This canoe will come fully registered and ready for water. This auction is for the boat only. Pick up is in Thornville, Ohio on Buckeye Lake...about 30 miles east of Columbus.
