GRUMMAN 17' STANDARD ALUMINUM CANOE, 1971, used, no-gloss forest green, repainted 2019, delivery possible. Unlike many other metal canoes, the aluminum used to make this canoe is a special marine seaplane alloy which simply does not corrode in fresh or salt water. Further, all of the rivets and other metal components are made of the same alloy, so electrolysis and the resulting corrosion cannot not occur. The canoe is in excellent condition and has only minor scratches and a few minor, shallow creases along the bottom made by rocks in shallow water. It comes with two paddles, an anchor, a Grumman outboard motor mount and a roof rack for older vehicles with rain gutters.
