Grumman factory made sail rig mast base mount for double end canoes. Attaches to the floor of the canoe, ahead of the front seat, with four bolts. From an estate sale. Found in a box marked Grumman sail rig. This item appears to have been broken on one side and repaired with epoxy like JB weld.

The repair looks solid and the item sits flat on a table. It has what appears to be witness marks from a grinder so I suspect a prior owner cut the four attachment bolts with a grinder before removing this bracket from a canoe. Please closely review the pictures and ask questions before buying. I didn't know anything about this item until I spent some time researching on-line. Apparently, these brackets have not been manufactured for many years.
