Up for auction is a Grumman Cubvan. I used it on a postal rural route. I retired and now it just sits in my driveway and I need to sell it. It is all aluminum, right hand drive, with a VW rabbit drive train in it. I have not cleaned it up, it is just as it was the last day I delivered mail.
It is titled as a 1979 VW, because that was the car that the driveline initially came from. I put a rebuilt engine in it 3 years ago. It has a carb on it, which was new last year, instead of fuel injection because it is less trouble. It runs fine, I just don't need it any more. Can be driven home.
I also put a new right hand drive steering rack in it last year. It comes with a lot of spare parts, both new and used. I kept parts on hand in case I had to do maintenance in a hurry. Many brake parts, gaskets, probably a case of oil filters, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, tires, extra hood, quarter panel, bumpers, grill, etc. I do not have a list of all the spares, if needed I'll try to do an inventory.
I have always used Mobil 1 in it. It does have damage on the left rear corner, and the seat should be replaced. Sold as is, where is, with no warranty either expressed or implied. Shipping is to be arranged by buyer. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally also.
If you have questions please ask before bidding, if you wish to inspect it, just ask. $500 down payment within 48 hours from end of auction and the balance in cash before the vehicle is released.
