Grumman Gunter Sail Rig, Grumman canoe sailing kit, Canoe Not Included In Sale!. Condition is "Used". As per photos You get all pictured except for the canoe! Included original instructions paperwork on setup and operation. This is an early 1970’s unit.

One owner - I picked up at an estate sale. The sail had been rolled up and stored hanging from the wall for over 40 years. The owner took care of his stuff as per the excellent condition of the canoe and its other components. Not a bing in the body of the canoe. Not selling the canoe at this point on this sale.

But at the right price you could talk me into it as a side sale. I am listing it as pick up only but I am willing to work with you to get it packaged up for a freight shipment. I would charge a reasonable fee for my time getting it packaged up. I figured the boat would be costly to ship. Arranging shipping details would be on your end- but again willing to work with you to help with that.

I could deliver to a fright pick up center. Mast is too long for FedEx I believe. Or maybe you could use “The You Ship “ online service. That may work out. I live 30 minutes east of Syracuse , NY.

(Zip 13461) . Mast is 11 1/2 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot and say 20 pounds when packed up. The carton for other items would be like 4 foot by 3 foot by 2 foot and weigh about 35 pounds. These are just estimates for shipping. But close to actual I would say.

Sail has some discoloring where it was exposed to the air after being rolled up for 40 years. But it seems very sound and not dry rotted out at all. Some of this can be seen in the photos Also note the alum seat section seems a bit too long to fit this canoe. Its like over an inch too long. Maybe it has to be disassembled and then put in place- I am just not sure on that one.

Could be easily modified to fit I am sure.... Please ask any questions or ask for other photos as needed. Not sure on a good staring price cause, I guess, not many make it on to classifieds board. So am I’m throwing my starting bid number out there a bit. Don't hold it against me if you think its a crazy number! Thanks John
