Grumman Sport Boat Canoe - Nice Early Example With The Thicker Hull!

I bought this recently because of some of the accessory items it was being sold with that I will retain however I do not have a need to keep another Sportboat around even though this is a pretty nice example of the older configuration with the thicker hull/double oar locks and the Grumman Factory mast step clip and rudder attachment points on the transom. These older original versions of the Grumman Sport boat also have a higher capacity rating and more room inside as they don't have the floatation pods along the gunnels...but if you are reading this you no doubt know all about this already! There are a few very minor dings that are hard to even show in the photos but I tried...it is pretty clean and without 10 funky coats of paint and the abuse these older models typically show...in fact there are no alterations from the factory original condition which is rarely seen.These are easily still one of the best boats for hunting and fishing and row like a dream although they are only marginal at best for paddling due to the width and square stearn...they scoot along well with small outboard motors and if you are lucky to find a Grumman Sail Kit these older models have the mast step clip for the mast base already installed...the mast thwart mounting holes pre-drilled at the Grumman Factory in the gunnels and the attachment points for the rudder installed...the newer versions do not come like this.The boat is for pickup only on weekends in South/Central Wisconsin near Westfield Wisconsin which is about 30 miles North East of the Wisconsin Dells area...no shipping FYI also no trailer/motor or any other items included in the sale except the boat itself.For sale locally...
