Perfect 18-ft Grumman Double End Aluminum Canoe and 2 Sawyer Wooden Paddles. We bought the canoe, paddles and two life jackets in 1981 at REI in SEATTLE with our 5digit membership card, The boat, paddle and life jackets are in almost new condition because they have been only used twice. The first trip was in 1981 from the East Coast of Vancouver Island to Ried Island (distance 2.5 miles) with our standard poodle and a five-day supply on the island. (Picture 1,2) The second was a short trip on the Russian River in Northern California. The intent was to have a boat for the family but there was no interest in the next generation nor grandchildren, who are now in Mississippi and Japan, respectively.
The condition of the boat and the paddle are extraordinary. There are a few slight scratches on the boat but none on the paddles. The paddles are 60" and 63" respectively. The T-keel is riveted in piece down the center of the bottom outside. The boat has always been stored upside down.

Right now, it is difficult to right it because it has become too heavy for us two (85 lbs.) and because the raining season is not yet finished in California.
