Condition Description: 
Been stored in garage rafters since 1979 and covered in pigeon droppings. Typical scrapes, scuffs, rubs and dings, but no rips, holes or tears. Serial number plate appears to be the same as Sears-Grumman used in 1972 thru 1976, but we aren't positive. Hasn't been in water since about 1978-1979. Photos show condition quite well. I took a wet rag and quickly scrubbed off the pigeon droppings off the prow area so you can see surface better. Last Missouri boat license intact before family moved to South Carolina. Serial no. 710463. Whoever made it, or what the exact year is, I am not certain, but this will still make someone a very nice watercraft.

Photos tell the story pretty accurately. Scuffs, scrapes, rubs and dings from river use, but no holes, punctures, cuts or tears. Very solid and I would not be afraid to get in and launch today. Tag indicates it's a 15 footer. Note: I have been informed this canoe may not be made by Grumman.

I was never positive, hence the question mark. Still feel this was a Sears, but don't know what company made it. Good quality construction, though.
