As fitted out in the photographs.I have two of these for sale, we are downsizing our canoe collection a little.The canoes are outfitted as solo PACK CANOES, with lowered seats and adjustable kayak footboards. They are currently set up for seated paddling, however this is easily changed by raising the seat to allow for kneeling.Airbags are laced in front and rear for buoyancy, and thin foam mats have been glued in for comfort, to add further buoyancy, and to reduce wear inside the hull. They also make it easier for a dog to travel with the paddler.Each of the canoes is fitted with an extra thwart behind the seat to stiffen the hull, and to allow a bag to be slotted into the gap as a backrest.Yaker Tape is fitted to each end to reduce damage.They can be paddled easily with a standard two-bladed kayak paddle, or a single-bladed canoe paddle.The Harmony canoe tracks very well and handles well in windy conditions, and they have good secondary stability, in my opinion. There is no significant damage to either canoe, just the usual scrapes and scratches.From the manufacturer:All Ace canoes are produced using three layer sandwich foam technology.

The foam core, in addition to the single layers of polyethylene, adds insulation, floating and increased stiffness and lightness for improved paddling efficiency. The ACE range of open canoes are all proven designs as we have been manufacturing the same models for many suppliers in the UK market place and continue to do so today. If it is manufactured in the UK then odds are we have made it. The smallest canoe in the ACE range, making it the ideal double (or single) paddler’s open canoe, both easy to handle in and out of the water. In the water, it tracks well in a straight line due to its relatively narrow beam.

Ideal for juniors too. This is a light weight canoe and at around 13ft (with solo outfitting available on request) and its 3 layer technology you can easily handle solo in and out of the water.
