16 Foot Canadian Prospector Canoe Strongback Plans Book Canoecraft

This listing is not for a canoe. What I am offering is the strongback and molds, a set of high quality plans and an instructional guide book in order for you to construct your own cedar strip canoe. I built this 2 years ago from good quality plywood using plans I bought from Bear Mountain Boats. I am a professional woodworker and I followed the plans and instructions meticulously to produce a really beautiful canoe. Now that my boat is almost finished, and I don’t intend to make another, I am offering the strongback and molds for sale along with the detailed set of printed plans and a copy of Ted Moore’s wonderful book “Canoecraft”.

Together, these will enable you to craft your own boat. You don’t need to be a woodworker to build a canoe, just basic tools and skills are required. Simply follow along with the guide book and you’ll see the magic of a canoe appearing before you. It’s an amazing project to involve the kids in and when you get your boat on the water the sense of accomplishment will be incredible. I have partially dismantled the strongback for transportation so the longest part is 8’ and should fit in an estate car or on a roof rack.
