16' Foot Mohawk Blazer Canoe With Paddles, Roof Racks, Straps, Extra Seat Boat

I am selling a 16 foot long Mohawk Blazer canoe with the full set of gear you would need to use it. I am Located in Gainesville FL and am willing to deliver or meet up within a total two hour drive (an hour each way). I confirmed the model of the canoe based on asking the current incarnation of the Mohawk boat company to look up the serial number and they were able to confirm the identity. It was made when they were still doing manufacturing in Florida. This sale includes the canoe, an extra seat that goes in the middle, four paddles, roof racks and straps, and a life vest.

Condition - The canoe - The paint is faded and coming off on the bottom, and there was some epoxy put on the floatation chambers on either end (on the inside) which I have pictured. The hull is in good shape, and there have never been any repairs to the hull that I can see. There is a scuff on the bow that I also pictured. It is not particularly pretty, but perfectly functional. The extra seat - This was something I added.

It clips into the gunwale and can be used either to carry the boat (over your head) if you invert it and spread the sides of the seat apart or just as a seat if you put it in the normal position and push the sides together like I have shown. It is about 3 yrs old and in very good condition. Paddles - The two green ones are new within the last couple years and are in very good shape. The two black ones are the original ones that came with the canoe and though I have used them in the last few years I see hair line cracks and no longer use them as main paddles. Roof racks - In good shape, got them 3.5 years ago and have used them several times.

They are decent for a detachable rack but certainly not as solid as one built into a car. They are adjustable to fit a range of cars and I have used them on two (Pontiac and Honda sedans) and they worked on both. Straps - Got them at the same time as the roof racks. They are 15' nylon straps and have worked well for the purpose of strapping the boat down. Certainly better than paracord or some other rope.

Life vest - Its basic and old and has a life jacket smell. floats. Delivery - I am willing to delivery a reasonable distance from Gainesville FL, about an hours drive each way. If you are further away than that please contact me so I can determine if the distance to travel is acceptable, or so that we can work a meeting point for delivery and transfer the boat at that point. Please do not buy and then ask me after the fact to drive it 5 hours.
