It's shallow arch hull and length provide stability and its fine entry lines give it good glide with each paddle stroke while maintaining a graceful and elegant look. Moderate rocker makes for easy turning and tracking. The fullness of the hull at paddling positions makes for lots of foot room under the seats for kneeling paddlers. With its 24" bow height and high volume hull, this canoe has lots of room for gear and extra passengers. 1000 year old Canadian Western Red Cedar means clear wood, no knots along the full length of the ¾” bead & cove strips.

The strips were glued and stapled into place, then the staples removed. It is still on the strongback wrapped in plastic in the crate & has been for 24 years. Originally begun in Canada 1985 the year we got married, this canoe is well travelled though not right side up on the water. Ready for someone else to take up the paddle! 😊 There are approximately 351 lin.m of Western Red Cedar in this canoe.
