5' Salesman Sample Canoe Model 1/3 scale of a 15' camp canoeUnfortunately Burt passed away and he won't be building any more. The contents of his shop was recently sold. Exceptional authentic 5' model canoe by master builder Burt Libby. Libby is widely respected for his perfect scale and attention to detail, with this model certainly demonstrating his considerable talent. Included on the bow is a tiny brass plaque stating "Burt's Canoes Litchfield, Maine".

This outstanding canoe features a 12 1/2" beam, 4 1/2" mahogany decks, caned seats, copper bang plates, 'Maine' red painted canvas, and even includes a pair of miniature paddles, to scale. In excellent plus condition.Beautiful detail and excellent workmanship, traditionally built, cedar with mahogany trim and canvas covering. Great to adorn your home, office, business, camp or cottage. Traditionally built right in Maine. New condition!
