Aluminum Canoe 1936 Vintage How-To Build Plans

Details making a Canoe from sheet Aluminum by making a paper pattern of another canoe and then laying in onto a sheets of aluminum and cutting them to shape. The sheets are then put back on the canoe and using the canoe as a form the aluminum is bent into shape. The pieces are then removed and fastened together along with the ribs and gunwales with rivets or by welding them together. This is an original 4 page magazine article from 1936.
