Beautiful American red cedar and ash rib canoe with ash and mahogany trim. Deluxe model with added half-ribs and extended mahogany decks. (Front and back) Circa 2002 16 foot long. The standard "Trader" is white cedar. This canoe is the "Deluxe" model using red cedar.

This is the the "Deluxe Trader" model which American Trader refers to as their most "visual striking canoe". Manufactured in Quebec, Canada in approximately 2002. American Trader was honored by Wooden Boat Magazine with the "CITATION FOR EXCELLENCE" award. American Trader uses the finest northwest U.S. Red cedar and produces the finest wooden canoes in the world.
