Antique 1952 Keuka K Wright Built. 16’ Cat Boat Original Survivor From Boat Hous

Condition: good length overall (LOA): 16 propulsion type: sail Murray Wright designed three different 16′ boats; one of the designs is a Kohinoor or K Boat. Between 1935 and 1975, 323 K Boats were built at the Wright Built Boat Company in Dundee, New York. They were made of western red cedar for carvel planking with copper nail riveting, sitka spruce for spars, white oak for frames and ribs, and mahogany for center board bunks, transoms and rudders. Centerboard is 100 lbs steel plate. The mast is 27′ spruce.

This is a 1952 hull #244 Complete with all original keel, tiller, floor boards, mast and sails. This is a fine example of an all original K boat it was purchased from the original owner in 1972. The boat was taken to a lake house in Canada and has been sailed and maintained by the same owner for 50 years. The boat has sailed the lake for the past 50 years. It is water ready with everything needed to sail including a mooring cover .

The trailer is road worthy .Being sold with bill of sale. There are no titles or registration. Located in Akron NY 14001. MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 8-30-22
