Antique Birch Bark Canoe

I have an approximately 100 year old 12 foot hunters canoe. This canoe has been identified as an Algonquin Wabanaki Tciman from the Lake Pemichigan area. This canoe came out of the collection of a friend who passed away last year. I am no expert on bark canoes. I expect this has had some repairs but it looks like it could be used. A better idea would be to display in a museum, business or cabin. If you are an expect on Native American canoes I would be interested in any info you could supply.
