Canadian Canoe Mad River Explorer 14. Condition is "Used". This has been our Canoe for the past 11 years. When we bought it we were told it was 2-3 years old. She comes with boyancy blocks and paddles.

Her condition mirrors age and use. She has been used regularly but not heavily. It has seen both river and lake use. Like every other Mad River Explorer it is an extremely stable canoe. As beginner's she gave us lots of confidence and we soon became proficient paddlers.

We are selling as we are getting too old to transport her. She is heavy to roof rack and you need to be fit to do it. I have tried in the photos to show her as she is, warts and all. She has general scratching on the hull especially at the bow end. The stern deck plate (where the carrying handle is) has split on both sides and whilst not a big problem it is something that could be replaced.

One of the boyancy blocks is missing a cord loop. The ropes are well worn. All these negative features are shown in the photos but to be a bit more positive I should say that her body has no holes or punctures or cracks. The best way, I would suggest, is to come and see her for yourselves. You can do that by arrangement.
