Canadian Canoe, Nova Craft Bob Special, Oxblood Colour

Nova Craft make great Canadian Canoes, in Canada! This is a top of the range model known as a Bob Special, it retails at £3000! It is 15 feet long but weighs only 22kg.It has two ash seats with lacing and an ash knelling thwart. The hull is made of a ‘Tuff Stuff’ composite which was specially developed by Nova Craft to give a strong but light hull. It has a central shoulder yoke to make carrying it quite easy for one person.It weighed 22kg new but is now plus the kneeling thwart, so about 23kg.The canoe has built in buoyancy bow and stern so there is no need for additional air bags, the built in bags are neat but sufficient to always keep the boat afloat.

This one is five years old but used very little. It has no damage and is immaculate inside. There is some scratching etc. On the hull but it remains in very good condition.I have used it single, double and triple handed and is a great canoe. It can carry a great deal of kit in addition to the people or additional people.It comes with a wooden paddle and cover.

This is no standard canoe and the cost, new or used, reflects this. It is however an item to be proud of and a robust and beautiful item. It is clearly a collect in person item and viewing can be made by arrangement. There are lots of photos to help you see the condition.
