Canadian Canoe - Single Seater In Pure Carbon Fibre.

This is probably a unique canoe. I know of no other that has been constructed in pure carbon fibre. This construction makes it light and stiff, and consequently very fast. The canoe is in as new condition, having been used very little since new. It is designed for open water use, and has been used on the estuary known as 'Carrick Roads', near Falmouth.

I had intended to continue canoeing into my eighties, but unfortunately I have developed severe arthritis and have to accept that my canoeing days are over. The boat comes with a 57" Badger Tripper, (which is an extremely light cherrywood paddle), fitted buoyancy front and rear, and it is laced. It was designed for open water, and it does handle chop and wind really well. It is stable and gives a feeling of confidence. I paddle kneeling, but the boat is also fitted with a seat.
