Canadian Open Canoe 16 Feet Three Seat With Flotation Wedges This canoe comfortably seats three adults or two adults and two children. I can confirm that it will also accommodate three adults and two dogs. Very well constructed. The three seats are comprised of wooden struts and polypropylene woven webbing.It is a very durable canoe, with a three layer polyethylene hull and central buoyancy layer, the strength of the hull is increased significantly.This canoe’s length and beam make it exceptionally sturdy and stable. Additionally, it has been fitted with Endless River Adventure flotation wedges to front and back.

These are shaped and designed specifically to fit the canoe. They are made from a single shaped foam block covered in heavy duty cordura, with loads of bungee straps and an end pocket to store gear. These are much better than air bags as they cannot be punctured. This means that, even if the canoe was totally filled with water, it would still float. Obviously this doesn't effect it structurally though if you wanted, it could be painted. It has the usual scratches from launching and use in (slow moving) rivers but it has no serious scratches and has never been repaired. Also, from storage, the hull has gone a little concave. Again, this doesn't effect its performance or structure and it may bend back if it is stored on its side. Best to mention it though.

We have had great fun as a family with this canoe for several years. We are now having a big clear out and, though I may well regret it, I am going to let it go. In addition, I am including a wooden paddle which is 152cms in length and two roof rack straps which are 5metres x 25mm (essential to transport the canoe). The floatation bags alone cost over £100. Together with the straps and the paddle, at the starting price, I am virtually giving the canoe away for nothing.Sold with no reserve.
