Canadian Open Canoe 16 Ft Pyranha Prospector

Traditional Canadian Prospector style open canoe made by Pyranha in Cheshire. Hull is of composite Royalex (three layers comprising a vinyl and foam plastic sandwich). Gunwales and thwarts are ash, and seats are cane with ash frames. Length 4.71 meters (15 ft 6 in). Beam 92 cm (3 ft).

Depth 30 cm (12 in). Weight 31 kg (68 lbs). Used but in good condition with some superficial scratching only on the underside. A stable but manoeuvrable craft ideal for inland waters including whitewater. Supplied with two wooden beaver tail paddles.
