Canoe, Canadian Canoe, Old Towne Canoe

Old Town Canoe We think it is The Saranac 146 model, a canoe designed for recreational use on slow rivers, estuaries, lakes, canals and lochs. It is suitable for the novice and the canoe enthusiast. It is super stable, making it perfect for family canoeing trips. It comfortably seats two in moulded seats (no back rests) with an additional centre bench seat which includes a covered storage compartment to store essentials while out on the water (being a modern canoe there is even a drinks holder!) As this a large canoe there is also plenty of kneeling room. It is a great canoe for fishing or family adventures.

There are carry handles in the bow and stern to make carrying easier. It can be transported on a standard car roof rack. This canoe is made from a single layer construction and is approximately 14½ ft. long. We are very sad to have to give up our canoe and hope that someone else will continue to glean a lot of pleasure from this lovely boat. Inspection in person is welcome before the end of the auction.
