If you like fishing and paddling, you're in luck. Although this boat isn't just for fishing it is designed with the angler in mind. This is why two of the seats incorporate a storage box for bait and small items of tackle etc. For the non-angler these storage boxers could be used for picnic storage or for small valuables (or whatever). Seats also incorporate cup-holders and fishing rod holders.

The boat is 16 foot long and just over 3 foot wide - BIG - but surprisingly light for it's size (It fits on the roof rack of my Vauxhall Meriva). It is made out of RAM-X plastic so it withstands knocks and bangs superbly. The boat has surface scratches as would be expected with a used canoe. There are also some heavy rock-scrapes on the underneath (see photos) these are expected when used on white-water and are purely cosmetic. The boat's bow and stern incorporate carrying handles for portage.

I have added a cargo net in the bow under which I used to store a waterproof storage barrel. There is a bungee in the stern to retain the battery box (mentioned later). I have added a mooring rope at the front and a high-viz waggler at the end to warn following motorists when the canoe is on my roof (protruding). As far as I know they are all in good condition but are not guaranteed. This is an adjustable, low speed motor.A battery box that fits in the stern and houses the leisure battery which powers the motor (battery not included). The box also includes a strut onto which the motor is fixed.This sale DOES NOT include a buoyancy aid (life jacket). On no account must you ever go out onto any type of water in any boat without ALL passengers wearing a buoyancy aid (however strong a swimmer they may be).

These can be picked up quite cheaply. FYI - I'm selling this item because I am moving house and will no longer have the storage space - it breaks my heart to part with it.
