Mad River Canoe, Explorer 14TT in red. A great canoe and accessories which has had very little use and is therefore in excellent condition, as you can see from the photos. There are only a few very light scratches on the bottom which I have tried to show in the photos. Mad river describe it as follows; The Mad River Explorer is a great canoe that is shaped with a versatile keel line that helps keep a good balance between straight line speed and manoeuvrability. The Explorer is suited to white water use, lakes, canals and lochs.The Explorer is made from Mad River's TripleTough construction which consists of a foam core sandwiched between two layers of high density polyethylene.

This construction makes the canoe lightweight, stiff and durable.The Explorer features two comfortable wood/webbed seats, polyethylene decks with moulded carry handles, vinyl gunwales and a carry yoke. Good as a solo, for touring or two up for fun and enough space to take kids as well. I have added two lashing eyes and lacing for bags etc. Using Mad Rivers clever system which allows this to be done without drilling through the hull.I am including one Carlisle wooden paddle which is 160 cm long and a two piece second/spare paddle which is 150 cm long. The two buoyancy aids are sized as per the photos but the fit is quite flexible.

There is also a Ruk sport roof pad system with foam blocks and cam-lock straps etc.I am only selling this lovely canoe is it is bigger than I need and has become a bit too much for me to lift onto my roof rack. I have replaced it with a single kayak so it has to go to make some space. It will make a great package for someone and includes everything you need to get on the water.Due to the size, it will be collection only please.Many thanks for looking.
