Canoe Wood Strip Building Supplies and Equipment This sale is for equipment needed to build a wood strip canoe. It is not for the canoes that I built using this equipment that are shown in the photos. There are about 17 ribs that the canoe is built around and a strong back to mount the ribs on. (The strong back is not shown in the photos) Various sizes ranging from a child’s to a touring canoe can be made with this equipment. It is not hard to do.

It would make a great Boy Scout project. Included are two books that guided me through the process.
