Not just another wooden canoe!   Made in 1989 by Fred Reckards; 1925-1994 of Rockwood, Maine.   S/N RKP004090590.   Custom built, with half ribs, cherry decks and accessory motor bracket.   Always stored indoors and exceptionally well cared for.

  I will consider delivery (within reason) for the cost of my gasoline.   This tandem Canoe was referred to as The Moose River Taxi and will accommodate a 6 HP outboard motor.   Also includes a Harken Hoister, Model 7803.   Side decals shown in photo are removeable, but boat numbers are pretty much permanent.   Technically, this canoe is NOT a "freighter" but will carry 1000 lbs.!
