Coleman Ram-X 16' Gold Medalist Canadian Canoe

Welcome to the auction for my Coleman RAM-X Gold Medalist Canoe. (Coleman is now Pelican) This was Coleman's 16 foot white-water touring model. It's in good conditon all over as you can see from the photos but I've moved into a flat so it has to go. As the white-water model it's built with a strong aluminium frame, reinforced seating and internal keel. It also has an external keel which adds to the stability.

It's made from Colemans bomb-proof RAM-X material and will take pretty much anything you throw at it. It has two fitted seats, but at 16 feet, there's plenty of space for 3rd (or 4th + 5th) passengers. Ideal family tourer or full-on expedition canoe. It has the usual launching scrapes along the bottom, but nothing unusual or deep. It has a couple of original Coleman paddles with it - they work fine but one has a slight bend in it and the other has a crack in the paddle face (see photos) Obviously it's for collection only and remember this is a big, strong canoe so you'll need decent roof bars!
