It is a broad and stable design built round a metal framework, ideal for carrying gear on longer trips or fishing from. The boat is used and has scratches and scuffs.

This does not affect the performance or functionality in any way and there are many years life left in this boat. Unlike most canoes the rear end is cut straight to form a transom, some people have used this to mount a small electric outboard. If you Google search you’ll find a lot of info on these boats and how they’re used. Also included in the sale is a pair of lightweight paddles. This is an ideal boat for exploring rivers and lakes including extended camping trips due to its stability and carrying capacity.Trailer.All steel contruction, un-braked enclosed trailer.

Standard ball socket. The lid of the trailer is hinged front to back along the centre line allowing both sides to open independently. Above the centre line is a very sturdy fixed steel frame suitable for mounting the canoe. There is enough space between the trailer lid and canoe to lay a bicycle across the top. Also included is a crudely made bike rack that fits onto the rear of the trailer.

With a little imagination and work this could easily be improved to carry more than one bike. There is some surface rust inside the trailer base and a small area where the metal has been worn/rusted away. I was told this is where a previous owner used to store his outboard motor and the prop has done the damage. There is a small steel plate included which is more than enough to patch this with plenty left over. A simple job to complete with a rivet gun and sealant.

The trailer comes with two spare wheels/tyres.This size trailer can be comfortably towed by almost any car.New TST trailers of this type sell for well upwards of £2000 and although used this trailer will go on for years to come.Together these make a great little package for camping / travelling, much more about function and capability than silly little trailers no bigger than a suitcase or pretty blow up canoes that deflate or shred on rocks or tree roots.
