Finely Crafted New Wood Canvas Canoe

Rangely Lake Guide Canoe measuring 15' 4" long, 39" wide and 13" deep in center. Has 2 woven rawhide seats and plenty of room in midsection for gear or another person. Weighs 65 lbs. These are fast, easy paddling canoes. Their true worth is enjoyed when the wind starts to blow and the waves are running high as the hull shape is designed to handle rough water, which is often the case on the Rangeley Lakes.

Constructed with Eastern White Cedar for the ribs and planking. White spruce for the inwales. Ash for the outwales, thwarts and seat frames. Decks made of cherry. #10 canvas on hull.

Brass stem bands. Can be crated and shipped if necessary. Contact me with your address and I can try to get a quote for you. Local pickup is fine too of course. If you live within driving distance of northern New Hampshire and want to test drive one of these you can.

This canoe is about 4 years old, but is used mostly for display and has had very little use. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions. I presently have only one available in the color red. You also can order any other color if you can wait for it to be built. I also make these in 13 and 17 foot lengths.
