Brilliant colored enameled paint steel sign. Grumman Canoes and the Grumman company in general are something for us all to be proud of. These canoes changed the canoe industry and took us from the old wood and canvas canoes of yore (not really much changed from the Indian crafted birch bark and pine pitch canoes) to what we see today. The canoes were built bullet-proof much like their WW2 era aircraft, after all people's lives depended on the quality of their products. The canoes were a way for Grumman to make something they could sell to the public to keep the factories humming after the war and they succeeded.

The sign will be packed super securely for shipment, well packed and padded. Just packing these up correctly is an hour. I am a big Grumman fan and love canoeing (for God's sake if you haven't done it...do it!) and I still prefer the old Grummans to the high tech composite material expensive lightweight ones we see today (these cost ten times as much as a used Grumman to boot).
