Hornbeck Classic 12 - Ultralight Pack Canoe - Kevlar Hull / Carbon Skin

This canoe is in excellent condition. It was manufactured in March of 2017. It's a wonderful recreational, exercise, and fishing canoe. I'm only selling it so I can turn around and get a different model from Hornbeck. The hull has a lot of scratches on the bottom because central Alabama has horrible rocky launches pretty much everywhere, but they are just superficial scratches.

The kevlar/carbon hull is in great structural shape. The wood gunwales have some normal wear, but they have been oiled and lightly sanded, according to Hornbeck's guidance. They look great. The foam seat and backrest, the foot pedals, and the thwarts are in excellent condition. I've kept it stored inside.

For a 12-footer, this is a very fast canoe, especially with the right paddle. Read up on Hornbeck's website. There's a big difference in stroke efficiency and speed when you pair it with a 260cm paddle. I even paddle it occasionally with a canoe paddle and it responds pretty well. Of course, these are extremely lightweight canoes, which makes them easy to carry.
