Hou 14 Open Canoe With Paddle

Hou 14 open canoe in red colour. 2 wood web seats, central yoke and carry handles. Bought second hand at the beginning of last year, but only paddled twice since. Previous owner had the boat from new and paddled infrequently on flat water. I have the original paperwork.

Condition is very good. Some launching scratches on the underside, and a couple of minor dinks from loading/unloading, all of which I have tried to show in the pictures. Actually not really noticeable unless you get the light in the right place, just superficial. Ideal 1 to 2 person canoe- can be paddled solo or tandem. Currently £1499 new from Hou.

Actually closer to 15 feet in length, despite the name. Specs.. Length: 14 Ft 11” Width: 36” Depth: 12” Carrying capacity: 390 Kgs Weight: 29 Kgs (approx.) Also included in the sale is a wooden Carlisle beaver tail paddle, 60” in length. (I have another paddle- 60” Grey Owl Scout- for sale separately). Selling as boat is too bulky for me to manoeuvre into my garden alone (small passageway, steps etc). Collection from village approx.

20 mins east of Peterborough. Buyer will need means of transporting canoe eg. Roof rack/straps or trailer. Local delivery could be considered for petrol costs. Thanks for looking.
