1935 Jr Robertson Camp Canoe, Cedarwood Wood /Canvas, Survivor, 16 Foot Barn fine:1935 J.R. Robertson canoe 16’ Birchbark pattern canvas over wood, not original motif. Closed gunwale in good condition, many cracked ribs, but still retains its original shape. This Canoe is the Camp Canoe model with wide plank seats Auburn Historical local canoe builder out of Auburndale, Massachusetts. Most noted for his Charles River courting canoes.
Early collaborator with the Indian Canoe company. Robertson’s Old Town. Their collaboration lasted for about a year and he headed back down to the Charles to continue his craft.  The Canoes still holds its shape and would be an excellent candidate for restoration or display in your home restaurant lodge bar cabin or retail store is. Easy helpful pick up in Haydenville, Massachusetts or national shipping available at an additional fee.
