Due to the bulky nature of the product, there could be some scratches on the kayak when it is shipped to an address as it gets moved around in trucks and goes through various depots. The quality was good and with only one small problem from the factory, that I had read about in other reviews. The Nut that holds the rudder on was not tight, so an easy fix and one you should check if you buy this Yak! Apart from that everything was spot on and my first outing was a pleasure to be out on the water being able to fish hands free, while pedalling with ease around the reservoir. Plus if you join the Kayaks2Fish Tribe and Kayaks2Fish Owners group on Facebook you can get all the help/information you might need + share your own adventures! However with the nexgen, the rudder fell off first trip out due to not being secured from manufacturer. Second trip out the cables for rudder control were not taught.

Recommend doing a solid overlook of all components prior to entering water (should have done myself, but I didn't). I do recommend kayaks2fish for your next kayak. Warranty cover does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, neglect, natural disaster, or other external causes; to damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside that described in the instructions. For us to come to a resolution the issue needs to be properly identified. To assist with a quick resolution, photos will generally be required to be emailed.

Once the fault/issue is clarified, we may offer replacement parts to the customer or the item may need to be returned to repair the fault/issue. Other alternatives may be offered to the satisfaction of both parties. The replacement/repaired product will be subject to the remainder of the original warranty period. Returns In the rare instance that an item arrives faulty or is damaged in transit we are happy to offer a replacement or refund. If you have changed your mind on a product, it must be returned within 30 days of order and must be returned in original saleable condition, that being, unused in the original packaging with any original labels attached and accessories included.

A 15% restocking fee will apply.
