This can be easily fixed by placing the kayak in the sun which will cause the plastic to expand to its original size. Due to the bulky nature of the product, there could be some scratches on the kayak when it is shipped to an address as it gets moved around in trucks and goes through various depots. These scratches are cosmetic only and won't impact the performance of the kayak. Always check local weather conditions and wear an approved life jacket when kayaking. Check your state/local Marine (boat) license requirement to operate canoe/kayak with a trolling motor prior to purchasing.
The hatches featured on Kayaks2Fish kayaks are water-resistant not waterproof. Constant splashing or rain can cause the water to slowly come into the kayak. Any damage caused by the incorrect use of a kayak trolley is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Was very happy with how easy it was to get into it from a ledge that was higher than the seat. On the water once the rudder was down stability was fantastic easy to paddle through the lake even with the wind kicking up a bit. Still need to land a fish in it. November 18, 2023 Nextgen10 mk2 So happy with my Kayaks2fish Nextgen10 Mk2. I spent ages researching Kayaks, trying to get a kayak with good primary and secondary stability within my price range. I think the trimaran hull is the answer to this.
I have tried standing in it on flat water and it works, and I also took it out on the bay in quite choppy water and it handles itself really well. I am now buying soft water cells and drybags and planning a 6 day trip down the Darling River. So far I am pretty sure it will carry the weight and have the storage space I need. The size of the kayak makes it easy to put on the roof of the car and carry by hand if needed (but I did buy the wheels that fit into the scupper holes). It was an easy pickup from the wharehouse.
No issues with the quality so far and all the info I need online. Very good kayak in this price range. Quite light to carry, considering the load capacity.
Only criticism of the NextGen 9 is it wiggles side to side when paddling - will be adding a rudder to help stabilise this. Easy to deal with and pick-up from warehouse went smoothly. Adey S. Please contact our customer service team immediately should you wish to make a warranty claim for any product you have purchased from us. Warranty cover does not include damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, neglect, natural disaster, or other external causes; to damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside that described in the instructions. For us to come to a resolution the issue needs to be properly identified. To assist with a quick resolution, photos will generally be required to be emailed. Once the fault/issue is clarified, we may offer replacement parts to the customer or the item may need to be returned to repair the fault/issue.
Other alternatives may be offered to the satisfaction of both parties. The replacement/repaired product will be subject to the remainder of the original warranty period. Returns In the rare instance that an item arrives faulty or is damaged in transit we are happy to offer a replacement or refund. If you have changed your mind on a product, it must be returned within 30 days of order and must be returned in original saleable condition, that being, unused in the original packaging with any original labels attached and accessories included. A 15% restocking fee will apply.
Please do not return or post items before obtaining instructions from us - if you do, there is a risk that your returned item may not be identifiable and your returns may not be accepted.
