Mad River Explorer 14TT The Mad River Explorer is a great canoe that is shaped with a versatile keel line that helps keep a good balance between straight line speed and maneuverability. The Explorer is suited to white water use, lakes, canals and lochs. The Explorer is made from Mad River's TripleTough construction which consists of a foam core sandwiched between two layers of high density polyethylene. This construction makes the canoe lightweight, stiff and durable. The Explorer features two comfortable wood/webbed seats, polyethylene decks with moulded carry handles, vinyl gunwales and a carry yoke.

The Explorer 14TT is a great all-round canoe. It’s a good choice for those looking for a solo canoe but comes with 2 seats as standard. I have included an optional third seat (complete with fitting kit) which can replace the yoke in the centre of the boat. This is a really versatile boat.
