Mad River Explorer 16 T/T

Mad River Explorer 16 T/T canoe is designed for two people with double seating, making it suitable for tandem paddling. It is a used watercraft known for its durability and stability on the water. I’ve had this for a couple of years but it sadly doesn’t really get used anymore. Previous owner fitted deep carrying yoke, kneeling thwart, gear loops/lashing and reinforcement strips on the gunwales around the middle of the boat. I started on the job of replacing the cracked end grab handles, but I’ve just not had time to finish it due to moving away.

The handles and fixings required to finish the job are included with the boat. They’ll need warming up in a bucket of hot/boiling water to make them pliable enough to manipulate on. Also included is a basic canoe trolley. It’s a heavy boat so ideally used for tandem paddling. Saying that, I have paddled it solo on a number of occasions in a variety of conditions and it’s ok with good technique.

Tracks well due to the shaped hull. Collection ideally from HU10, East Yorkshire due to size. However there may be a possibility of delivery to West Midlands/Shropshire area. Please ask for further info.
