Mad River Explorer 16TT Canoe

Mad River 16 Foot explorer Canoes in excellent condition. Owned for 4 years but used very little - hence the sale. We are a charity working with young people in North Devon and we have found that Canoes are not ideal for novices with the wind conditions we get here so we're trading in to get some sit-on-tops. The Canoes have been used a handful of times and have gained just a few superficial marks to the hull - the seats and inside look like new. They have been stored inside when not in use on a trailer specifically built for them.

They are strong and versatile boats, we're hanging on to the paddles though I'm afraid. The photos attached are of both canoes which are identical although one has some discolouration from being on top of the trailer - I'm sure this will just fade - this one has only been used twice... The Explorer is made from Mad River's TripleTough construction which consists of a foam core sandwiched between two layers of high density polyethylene. The Explorer features two comfortable wood/webbed seats, polyethylene decks with moulded carry handles, vinyl gunwales and a carry yoke. The Explorer 14TT is a good choice for those looking for a solo canoe and for those intending to use it on white water while those looking for a higher load capacity to carry extra equipment will be more suited to the 16TT. As a great all round canoe, the Explorer is an ideal choice for commercial use by hire operators and activity centres.
