Mad River Explorer Kevlar 16' Canoe

**camera was acting up and photos are terrible...sorry! But...This is a very nice canoe in great shape. It is strong, light, a pleasure to paddle and carries lots of cargo. I have other boats and this was used sparingly over the time I had it. It was cared for very well so you will see no landing gouges in the bow hull; passengers exited boat in shallow water.

Boat was rarely brought ashore, but rather anchored in shallow water! Excellent for camping because of its enormous capacity and portaging ease yet easily put on car or tall SUV by one modestly fit person. Remarkably fast as well as stable, so it will do very well with fishing, photography, kids and pets. Wood is in excellent condition solid, nice free of damage. Boat has been kept in garage.

Hull has no repairs just some normal minimal scratches from use. Gelcoat is in great shape. Before making offer, rather than asking basic questions, do your own fact-finding, read about this boat and make your own mind up if its for you, but after having over a dozen small boats, I can tell you that this was my favorite canoe by far as well as the most versatile; I even sailed it. I mostly paddle and sail kayaks now, almost never do any camping, so I am reluctantly parting with it. Boat is pickup only in Westchester County, NY about 30 minutes north of NYC.
