Mad River Lamoille Canoe

This canoe was produced from 1983 to 1995. It was made for big loads in varied conditions at top speed. Outstanding seaworthiness, loaded or unloaded, and renowned for it's ability to keep going in the worst conditions quickly and comfortably, thanks to its modest Shallow-V hull. Superb for camping and ambitious expeditions. A great boat for larger families.

This model canoe and construction have been running major expeditions and downriver races for more than 35 years, and it makes an exceptionally stiff, strong, resilient boat. Ideal for river and mixed water expeditions and touring. Kevlar construction is ideal for deepwater paddling and portages while having the strength to shrug off the inevitable lumps and bumps of white water. This boat is in very good condition. I bought it back in the early nineties for family camping, fishing, and general outings.

It was a showroom demo unit. It has never been used too hard. It has a few very minor scrapes and scratches, like any canoe that has ever actually been in the water, but displays very nice cosmetically and it's structural integrity is perfect. This is a very desirable classic boat that has long been out of production. These are hard to find in any condition, and it is even more difficult still to find one that looks like this.
