Mad River Traveler Fiberglass Cloth Canoe 16" 3", Used Little Stored Inside

1990 Mad River Traveler canoe in very good condition. (We purchased it unused in 2001). It's 16' 3" long, the depth at the bow is 22 1/2", it's 14" in the middle and 18 1/2" at the stern. The widest width is 29". It's made of fiberglass cloth, has slotted wood gunwales and a sliding cane seat.

Kneeling pads have been added. This canoe has seen very little use, since we use a tandem canoe mostly. My husband took it, and a big German Shepherd on a week long solo trip to Canada. Other than that, it was used on rivers where he didn't have to worry about it getting beat up. There are superficial scratches on it, as evidenced by the pictures.

A carrying yoke was on it at one time, but was removed. You can see where the holes (one on one side and two on the other) in the gunwales were plugged. Also, a small hole was repaired just under the outwale (it's about 3'8" x 1/4" in size) where it was accidentally drilled through when putting a yoke on it. It's a strong, heavy duty canoe. It was always stored in a garage, and 303 Protectant and Gunwale Guard was used in the upkeep.
