Old Town Camper Canoe - 16ft Royalex - Red

Very good condition 16ft Royalex Old Town Camper canoe. Great boat for families and those looking for a very stable canoe. Fantastic build quality. Fits two to three paddlers (or 2 adults, 2 children with ease). The boat is around 6 years old, but has had light use, mainly on the river Thames, with some grade 1 use on the river Wye and in the Tarn Gorge.

The hull is in great condition, with the usual minor scratches and tiny dents from normal use. I've tried to capture the scratching on the bottom of the boat in the photos. There's one tiny section at one of the noses where you can see a few mm of the 2nd royalex layer, but the hull integrity is excellent. The wooden thwarts have a few black moisture spots on them, which could be easily sanded down and re-varnished should you wish (they are only cosmetic). The inside is very clean as an be seen.

The boat has been professionally laced and drilled for fitting airbags and has had grab loops fitted for expedition use. The lacing runs the length of the boat for tying in loads/additional airbags (or just loose equipment). This is a lovely boat and we'll be sad to see it go as we have many happy memories from it.
