Original Dagger Legend Royalex 16' Open Canadian Canoe + 2 Paddles

This is a listing for an original Dagger Legend 16 in royalex, the original 'legendary' boat that Mad River subsequently modelled their Legend design on. This boat has clearly seen some white water action in the past with a number of scrapes dents and creases. She has also got holes drilled for lacing airbags. Since buying it I have used the boat for mainly canals and a maximum of grade 1 moving water. She would probably benefit from Kevlar skid plates for serious whitewater.

When I bought her I replaced the nasty plastic seats the previous owner had in with new ash ones, and also the yolk. I was told that the original Dagger Legend was a stronger boat than the Mad River, and she does seem a little heavier, although I have never weighed her. Unfortunately with a bad back, I am now struggling to get her on my car, and am selling to buy a smaller lighter tandem. I am also throwing in a couple of wooden paddles for the buyer.
