Peasemarsh 8 Fun Canoe

The PEASEMARSH 8 Open Canoe This little canoe is the smallest of our range can be used by kids(under supervision) to paddle alongside mum or dad. It will even carry a small adult up to 11 stone (70kg) maximum. The pictures above show my wife and two eldest having fun in one they built. It is also being regularly built by a charity who have a mini regatta every year. At a little under 8' at 7' - 7" (2.31m) long and 2' - 2" (0.664m) wide at it's widest point and it is a very light canoe.

It has also been used as a garden ornament/planter, a toy box and a kids bed. The build is in 4mm marine plywood with a bulkhead both ends with decks fitted to form buoyancy tanks that are fitted with drain plugs or small round hatches. A cleat is fitted to one end on the deck for a mooring rope and a paddle to your choice of size up to 1.2m (4') is also included. They are painted to your choice of colour outside with varnished decks and trim along with the inside and bulkheads although it could all be painted if you prefer. These little canoes are built to order normally taking around two weeks.
