This is a great touring canoe. It can take 65 stone evenly loaded, which makes it amazing for a canoe camping trip. I’ve had loads of trips with it, loaded it with all the kit, and because of the long slim design it cuts through the water really well. If your looking to do camping etc.. with a canoe don’t buy short wide canoes as the effort needed to paddle is ridiculous, you need a touring canoe, long and slim. This canoe is also great for fun days out on a lake or loch.

There are fibre glass skid pans on the front and rear to protect the canoe where it impacts the shore when you land. And I’ve added reinforcing bars across the canoe to help keep it strong. There are no holes in the canoe at all, and is fully ready for its next adventure. Bad points - one of the three seats came off on our last trip, and it’s an old canoe, so it does not look as good as it could. It’s been well used, and has a lot of scuffs.

None of which affect the integrity of the canoe. So don’t buy it if your into looking cool. But do buy it if your into getting out into the wild and doing some proper camping, or messing about on the water for the day. These canoes are in excess of £500 new.
