Riber 16 Canoe 3 Seat 3 Layer Used

Riber 16 3 seater canadian second hand , used about 6 times hence very good condition. Green on outside , grey on inside. 3 layer boat means that when they mould they put in the oven once with green plastic, then put in again with a mix of plastic and chemical that causes bubbling, very similar to a foam , then it goes back in for a third time to get a smooth layer of plastic that faces inside, in this instance in grey. This makes it very difficult to sink, you can literally drill a hole in floor, you will get wet feet, but it will still be afloat. Also means if you drop it normally bounces rather than breaks, it will scratch , but that is the point, it is better to have a scratched boat than a hole.

This model is 16ft and about 45 kg, the moulding is a bit rough compared to a British made boat, but if just want something for the family, it will be a laugh. Can do a pair of new paddles for £35 if needed. Delivery may be available by our van which travels from Clacton to Sussex once a month and Clacton to Derby once a month.
