Sassafras 16 American Expedition 2 - 3 Seater Canoe

This canoe was completed in 2016 by Barnaby Boats in Suffolk. The design follows the expedition canoes used to explore Canada and the United States two century's ago.It was built from Okoume marine plywood, the best you can get and is glued with epoxy resin. The bottom inside and out is protected with glass fibre and the whole canoe is finished with three coats of epoxy resin and three coats of marine varnish. This finish should give complete protection for many years to come. It comes with two paddles.
